Project Highlight

Overview:

The City of Frisco hired Big Screens on the Go to provide a Big Screen LED trailer (T-Rex Model) for sponsor recognition, event branding, as well as, engage the audience with something new, entertaining and fun!


Content:

1. Displayed on the screen was a loop that included three slides provided by the client that promoted the following: Sponsors, Social Media Wall, Event Branding

2. Additionally, we included in the loop a live social media wall that was moderated in real time to ensure no selfies would appear on the screen that may lewd, crude or rude.

3. And we setup a Live Video Camera in a high traffic zone to capture people live on the Big Screen.


Results: 

Sponsors received visible on-site recognition for their partnership in the event.  The screen grabbed attention with over 160 unique social media posts to the Big Screen.  And event attendees loved seeing themselves on the Big Screen - waving, dancing, taking pictures and sharing the pictures of themselves on social media and with their friends. (Which helped promote the event off-site as well.)    


How we did it: 

After about 30 minutes of showing the sponsors slides we decided to see how the social media wall was doing.  We had noticed already about 30 new posts!  Keep in mind, due to the short turnaround the hashtag was never promoted before the event. So attendees were not prompted to post unless they saw the slide on the Big Screen. 

After about 30 more minutes, we decided to kick it up a bit and really get attendees engaged with the screen by showing live cam of the attendees.  The engagement was amazing (see videos) - the crowds waved at themselves, danced, took videos, pictures and smiled from ear to ear!  The result... was even more social media wall posts.  For the less than an hour of social media wall promotion, the event saw 164 unique posts to the wall. And by far, the most hashtag activity for the month leading up to the event!
